What is BACS?
BACS Ltd provde a computerised money transmission service operated
on behalf of the major UK clearing banks. Payments details are
sent direct to BACS HQ at Edgware, London and from there they
go to the clearing banks' own computer centres for processing.

There are three simple steps:
- Enter payment information (import from a file or use direct
entry)
- Create the file for transmission
- Transmit the data to BACS HQ and receive reports
